  • Obtain Zotero User ID and API Key:
  • Visit Zotero Security Settings to locate your USER ID under the Applications section.
  • Generate a new private key on the same page.
  • Configure Credentials in Your Workflow Tool:
  • In the “Collections” node, select Generic Credential Type > Header Auth.
  • Create a new credential with:
    • Name: Zotero-API-Key
    • Value: Your newly created private key.
  • Execute the Workflow:
  • Run the workflow to verify the connection.
  • Access the “Select Collection” node and view the results displayed as a table.
  • Copy the “KEY” of the desired collection to specify which bibliography subset to extract.
  • Customize the Output:
  • Modify or remove the last two nodes, Filter and Edit Fields, to tailor the extracted metadata to your specific needs.
